Bakewell Choral Society with their conductor Alan Eost
rehearsing for a concert and accompanied by Skipton Building Society Camerata

Bakewell Choral Society is a friendly, mixed choir of around 80 members, which was founded by Richard Barnes in 1978. Alan Eost joined us as Musical Director and Conductor in 2013 . The choir performs four public concerts each year, including the popular Christmas Words & Music concert in December. Other concerts are a blend of sacred and secular choral music, covering a wide repertoire from classical to contemporary works including commissioned works for the Society.
